TO THE MOON CUSHION - ROSE
To the Moon cushion is part of the From the Sun to the Moon collection, designed by Lara Bohinc in collaboration with Kasthall. Hand tufted cushions with a mix of different wool grades and yarn types of highest quality. Selected elements are tufted using overspun felting yarn, with both cut and loop pile, creating a glorious bouclé loop texture. The patterns are chosen segments from the rugs with the same name and the color options are West of the Sun Rose and East of the Moon Rust. The characteristic bold lines run across the front of the pillow cases, displaying the ripples from the Zen sand. Circular elements are found at the edges contrasting against perpendicular lines, providing deliberate asymmetry and interesting contrast. A contradiction that creates harmony.
